Dear Members,

The February 25, 2005 “Introduction to Systems Engineering” tutorial by Mr. James N. Martin was a resounding success for our chapter.  Out of the fifty attendees, more than 60% were chapter non-members and many were from companies with minimal attendance at previous events.  In addition, twelve desired to become members of our chapter!  The content of the event sparked enough interest that we have received requests for follow up seminars on some of the advanced topics touched on by this tutorial. I am pleased to see the chapter continue to grow and provide valuable services to its members and the general system engineering community in Indiana and Illinois.  My thanks to Mr. James N. Martin for doing a great job of presenting the concepts in an insightful way, to Raytheon Technical Services Company for allowing the chapter to take advantage of their having paid for Mr. Martin’s travel expenses, and to ICTT for providing event planning and printing services.

Below is a breakdown of registrants by organization to show how diverse, unique, and healthy our chapter is!

Thanks,

Jason Sherey
